The Danino Studio is currently welcoming students and recent graduates for an Art-Science internship!

Our laboratory at Columbia University is developing biological art projects with microbes and cells using a variety of techniques. We are looking for interns who can help us capture our work, develop proposals, and assist with additional studio maintenance as projects require.

The lab focuses on using Synthetic Biology techniques to engineer bacteria systems and build novel applications for the environment and human health.  Our primary research area is currently on the engineering of bacteria as a cancer therapeutic. For more information, watch our TED talk and visit http://daninolab.nyc and taldaninoart.com
